Tom Thrall is a Pacific Northwest singer-songwriter, who first began playing guitar in the early 1960s with his late friend, Holly Garber. Holly was destined to become an icon of the burgeoning Washington, DC folk music scene of the time, while Tom's path would eventually take him off in other directions, including medical school and a private practice in the Boston area. After meeting his wife Deborah and moving to Oregon's Coast Range in 1993, however, Tom's musical interests reawakened, culminating in the release of a home-recorded CD, Soft Green Grass, in 2004. Now ten years older and wiser, Tom has produced his first studio album, Seven Crows, accompanied by Holly's son Ted Garber on harmonica, and neighbor Kathleen Lacock on harmony vocals. Both albums are available on CD Baby.
